What’s New?

Improved Features

  • Find and Replace now supports phrases with spaces

    • You can now search and replace phrases that include spaces in the [Find and Replace] panel.

  • Added texts now show on the waveform

    • When you add text to a silent section (where no original captions existed), the waveform timeline will now also display those words.

  • Improved [Remove silence] menu UI

    • The [Remove silence] panel has been redesigned to be more intuitive and easier to use.

  • Enhanced animated caption effects

    • Caption styles now dynamically resize based on the selected template.

    • You can now apply multiple animated effects to a single caption.

    • Fixed an issue where captions were getting cut off on the sides.

    • Other minor improvements included.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where trimmed words still played back during preview.

  • Fixed errors in the [Find and Replace] feature.

  • Fixed an issue where the draft panel opened automatically when launching Cutback.

  • Fixed a bug that triggered an unintended “Change Sequence” pop-up when clicking the sequence area.

  • Fixed incorrect word highlighting when navigating with the keyboard.

  • Fixed an issue where YouTube chapter languages were displayed incorrectly.
